Katy Perry punya nama panjang Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson yang lahir di Santa Barbara , California , Amerika Serikat tanggal 25 Oktober 1984 . Dia adalah seorang penyanyi berkebangsaain Amerika Serikat .. Dia terkenal setelah meluncurkan single pertamanya yang kontroversional berjudul "I Kissed a Girl" dari albumnya yang kedua "One of The Boys" di tahun 2008 .. Katy Perry juga dikenal dengan gaya pakaian yang unik , aksi panggungnya dan leluconnya .. Perry merupakan anak kedua dari pasangan Keith dan Mary Hudson yang bermatapencaharian pendeta .. Dia bertumbuh dewasa sambil mendengarkan lagu gospel dan bernyanyi di gereja ..
